2. Dalvin Tomlinson

Thanks to the work Nick Saban has accomplished at Alabama, the Crimson Tide have seen plenty of great defenders go on to succeed at the NFL level.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Dalvin Tomlinson‘s numbers certainly don’t stand out like some of the other young defenders across the league, but the fact that he’s started every game for the Giants over the last two seasons has potential written all over it.

Despite all of the hype surrounding the former second-round pick in 2017, it’s safe to say that Tomlinson emerging into a starter as quickly as he did came as a bit of a surprise for New York.

And while the chances of the Giants willing to trade Tomlinson seem slim over his potential alone, every player in sports seems to have an asking price, and New York could very well get a solid draft pick in return if this were to happen.

Just the thought of Tomlinson teaming up with arguably the best defensive player the NFL has to offer in Aaron Donald would take the unit to a new level in 2019 for Los Angeles.

Wade Phillips always loves new talent to work with, and after watching Tomlinson’s development from the last two seasons, the defender is only going to continue to get better.
