Honorable Mention: Robert Woods

First off, let the record show that Robert Woods is receiving honorable mention on this list mainly due to the fact that he’s already outplayed his contract in just two seasons.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Back in the 2017 offseason when the Rams were in desperate need of help at the wide receiver position, the signing of Woods would turn out to be one of the most underrated moves from free agency.

At the time, Woods signing a five-year deal worth $34 millions ($15 million guaranteed) seemed fair for both parties, but Los Angeles is clearly receiving a bargain for the wideout heading into the 2019 season.

Woods and Goff deserve all of the credit in the world for the chemistry established over the last two seasons, as one can only imagine what 2019 will have in store for the duo.

After setting career highs across the board with 86 catches for 1,219 yards to go along with six touchdowns in the receiving department, Woods has made it clear that he’s capable of being one of the most dangerous players across the league.

Most likely, Los Angeles will wait another year or two before addressing Woods’ contract situation since they have a major advantage with the wideout signed through the 2021 season.

But if the Rams wanted to keep Woods happy, rewarding him with a new deal doesn’t sound like the worst idea in the world.
