3. Jordan Reed

Words can’t even describe how frustrating it has been at times for Jordan Reed throughout his career since the tight end could arguably be one of the top players in the league at his position, yet continues to be bothered by injuries.

More from Ramblin' Fan

As impressive as it was to watch Reed earn a trip to the Pro Bowl during the 2016 season, the year before was arguably his best after earning 11 trips to the end zone while hauling in 87 catches for 952 yards.

With all this in mind, one can only imagine how different the last few years would have been in Washington if Reed were healthier, and able to make more of an impact on offense.

Even if the Redskins feel confident enough in Reed having what it takes to be healthy in 2019, it may not hurt to explore trade options since this seems like a situation that Washington should have moved on from a long time ago.

Bringing on a player like Reed would seem risky for a team like the Rams, and his current contract is a little high, but also let’s not forget how great of a job Sean McVay does working with tight ends.

If Reed could stay healthy, and become a reliable target for Jared Goff in the passing game, a move like this could work wonders.
