3. Success from previous two seasons
Never in a million years did any football fan ever imagine the Rams would be considered this strong of contenders in the NFC so soon after hiring McVay, but here they are looking to win their third NFC West title in a row during the 2019 season.

For obvious reasons, this is always easier said than done for a team like Los Angeles since teams like the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers will be motivated more than ever to dethrone the Rams.
But also, if the previous two years are any indication of what 2019 could have in store, the Rams should be in great shape.
From Aaron Donald continuing to help the defense be one of the best in the league to Jared Goff having a high-powered offense to work with, Los Angeles will bring plenty to the table once again in 2019.
Even after a few key adjustments this offseason, the Rams have every reason in the world to feel confident over their chances to compete this upcoming season, and continue to be a serious contender in the NFC.
Time and time again, Los Angeles has proven they are capable of handling the pressure since it was arguably a concern around this time last year.
So after watching all of the success from McVay and Snead over the last two years, why wouldn’t the Rams want to put themselves in the best position possible to make sure this continues?
