3. Will joint practices benefit the Rams?

Leading up to Saturday’s game, the Rams previously agreed to participate in joint practices with the Raiders, which is something that will hopefully benefit both teams.

Recently, Los Angeles participated in joint practices with another serious contender in the Los Angeles Chargers, and while McVay expressed some concerns surrounding the offense looking “sluggish” from an overall perspective, hopefully things improve against the Raiders.

Joint practices seem to become more popular each year for football teams since it tends to provide a different pace going against opponents instead of actual teammates, which will hopefully benefit the Rams.

Despite all of the hype surrounding McVay’s squad, earning another trip to the playoffs for a third year in a row is far from a guarantee, and any extra help they can get moving forward will be extremely important.

Hopefully, a few days of joint practices along with Saturday’s preseason matchup will help give the Rams a better idea of where they currently stand at this point in August.

As mentioned before, earning another trip to the Super Bowl is going to be far from easy for Los Angeles, and here’s to hoping these next few weeks turn out to be quite effective when it comes to helping live up to the expectations.

If not, well at least Week 2 of preseason in Hawaii against the Dallas Cowboys will be another opportunity for the Rams.
