3. McCaffrey torches Rams

Fantasy football owners with McCaffrey on their rosters in 2019 most likely went on to win their league championship, because the Panthers running back has become a scoring machines in the NFL.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Entering Sunday’s game, Los Angeles had a pretty good idea that stopping McCaffrey would most likely be one of their most difficult challenges.

And while there were numerous times in which the Rams’ defense seemed to be doing a good job at keeping McCaffrey in check, the former Stanford star still found a way to put together a monster game in the loss.

Not only did McCaffrey lead the Panthers in rushing with 128 yards on 19 carries and two trips into the end zone, but he also led the team in receiving after hauling in 10 catches for 81 yards.

Once again, McCaffrey continues to prove to the rest of the NFL that he’s one of the most dangerous offensive weapons, and will continue to be a key factor in Carolina’s success moving forward.

As bad as it sounds, Los Angeles should consider themselves lucky for still being able to come up on the winning end despite these numbers from McCaffrey since it could have easily gone the other way.
