4. Donald records first sack of 2019

First off, the thought of Aaron Donald being upset over his numbers being down through two games with the Rams is absolutely ridiculous since the two-time Defensive Player of the Year has still helped the defense in a big way.

Donald’s presence alone gives Los Angeles a major advantage over opponents when looking at all of the extra attention he draws from defenders, especially if it helps pave the way for teammates to apply extra pressure to quarterbacks.

Sooner or later, the sacks are going to begin piling up for Donald with the Rams, and if he happened to get to Baker Mayfield at least once on Sunday night, no one would be surprised one bit.

Cleveland’s offensive line will certainly have their hands full when it comes to protecting Mayfield from Donald, but Monday’s game against the Jets is the perfect example of why that first sack could finally take place in Week 3.

Even if Donald has been limited this week due to back issues that started to take place during Week 2 against New Orleans, the Rams star has one of the best work ethics in the NFL, and will make sure he’s ready to go come Sunday night.
