2. Calais Campbell

Even though Calais Campbell recently turned 33 at the beginning of September, the veteran has made it clearly early on in 2019 that he can still bring plenty to the table on the defensive side of the football.

Despite the Rams arguably having the league’s top defender in Aaron Donald, the unit could still use improvement in a few areas, especially when it comes to their struggles in stopping the run.

Back in Week 3 during a win over the Tennessee Titans, Campbell was playing at an extremely high level for the Jaguars by sacking Marcus Mariota a total of three times.

Tennessee’s horrendous offensive line may have played a big role in these results, but just the fact that Campbell found a way to record the hat trick shows what he can still bring to the table.

With four Pro Bowl seasons over the last five years heading into 2019, Campbell seems like the kind of veteran that could still play at a high level for at least a few more seasons.

And when taking into consideration that Campbell’s time in the NFL could be coming to a close sooner rather than later, chances are he wouldn’t mind being part of a team with a legitimate shot at earning a trip to the Super Bowl.

In comparison to the Rams, the Jaguars are nowhere close at the moment, and it’s not even worth debating.
