When looking at some of the struggles behind the offensive line throughout 2018, Minnesota entered the offseason knowing the importance of bringing in better protection for Kirk Cousins under center, or it could lead to another year of disappointment.
Of course, if this were to be the case, it seems like the chances of the Vikings willing to move on from Kline would be slim since Cousins is already off to a rough start, and the last thing they want to see happen is the offensive line take a step back.
But since Minnesota could have a potential backup option to consider in Dru Samia to fill in for Kline if needed, maybe Los Angeles would get lucky if the interest were there.
Unlike the previous two seasons, the offensive line hasn’t been as reliable for the Rams after looking at some of the adjustments the team was forced to deal with in the offseason.
A player like Kline certainly wouldn’t solve all the issues, but the extra depth could be a big help for Los Angeles.
