3. Rams feeling fired up after Ramsey trade

Some Rams fans will question how on earth the Jalen Ramsey trade will impact Goff’s level of play on offense, but the team in general seems to be feeling extra fired up heading into Sunday’s meeting with the Falcons.

After Marcus Peters was sent packing to the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, Los Angeles seemed to have bigger plans in the works since the defense was already hurting without Aqib Talib, who was sent to IR with a rib injury.

At the moment, the Rams seem hopeful that Ramsey will be able to suit up on Sunday against the Falcons, and if this turns out to be the case, one can only imagine the high level of extra motivation on both sides of the football.

If Ramsey does end up playing, and finds a way to make numerous big plays for Los Angeles on the defensive side of the football, this could also help Goff feel less pressure under center while making his job much easier to handle.

By giving up two future first-round picks to land Ramsey, the Rams realize the risk in this kind of move, but also should be able to use this to their advantage when facing the Falcons since players and the coaching staff are all fired up still.
