3. Ramsey looked good in debut

As previously mentioned, there was plenty of excitement surrounding the Rams acquiring Ramsey from the Jaguars last week to put them in better position at cornerback since the group can use all of the extra help possible with Aqib Talib out.

Some critics wasted little time pointing out that Los Angeles was giving up a lot to bring Ramsey on board since there was always the risk of the star cornerback being gone after two seasons, but hopefully the two sides can figure out a way to keep him around for the long run.

Despite only being with the team for a few days, Ramsey was ready to go for Sunday’s meeting with the Falcons, and would face a difficult test matching up with one of the league’s top receivers in Julio Jones.

With Jones catching six passes for 93 yards, most football fans will claim the Falcons wideout won this battle, but from an overall perspective, Ramsey deserves plenty of credit for keeping him in check for the most part.

Since Jones has always been the kind of receiver who could break out for a monster performance at any given time, 93 receiving yards really isn’t all that bad for the Rams’ defense.

Ramsey still has a long way to go when it comes to proving himself, but as far as his Los Angeles debut is concerned, this was a solid start for one of the newest members of the Rams.
