Potential Rams upcoming trades

In addition to Gurley and or Cooks, the LA Rams could have other players available to trade as well.  Tight end Gerald Everett is a strong NFL tight end who could be pried away from the Rams for the right price, particularly in the face of a very weak tight end crop in the 2020 NFL Draft.  The Rams could also pick up the team option for cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman and trade him away for the right offer as well.

We discussed that Rams running back Malcolm Brown would benefit greatly from a change of scenery, but with the wave of cheap and plentiful running backs in the 2020 NFL Draft, do not expect that to happen anytime soon.

Finally, the LA Rams could have a great deal of interest in right tackle Rob Havenstein on the trading block.  Early results from the 2020 Free Agency activity showed a lot of teams paying top dollars for veteran offensive linemen.  While Havenstein is coming off a 2019 injury, and a year with poor performance, his projected salary of under $8 million per year for the next three seasons is an incredible value for a starting offensive tackle right now. Based on the dollars flying at offensive linemen, many NFL teams want an NFL veteran on the roster before entering the 2020 NFL Draft.  Haventstein could get a solid return in the trade market this year.
