After a negative reaction to their leaked new logo, the LA Rams are ready for the official unveiling to be Monday, March 23, 2020.

The LA Rams new color scheme and logo redesign leaked to social media recently may or may not have gone back to the drawing board after the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the leaked logo.   That logo was so horrific to some, that the question was asked repeatedly: Is this real? Or is this a hoax?

In the end, it may have been both or neither. It may have been a simple test market sample, which then directed the team to take a new track. But the team is ready, set, and will go to a formal unveiling of the new logo and color palate theme for the uniforms this Monday, March 23, 2020.

With so many changes due to COVID-19 risks, and the restrictions imposed to counter the possibility of spreading the disease, the Rams have rolled out a new and innovative means to share the new designs.

"On Monday, March 23 at noon PST, we will host a live stream on therams.com and our social channels during which we will reveal our new logos and colors to our fans. We have loved seeing all of the creative ideas and feedback on social media throughout this process and are excited for you to continue this journey with us. – Rams.com message from COO Kevin Demoff"

Of course, you can interpret that message in several ways.  One of which is the fact that Rams COO Kevin Demoff did, in fact, collect the feedback (and outrage) from the social media responses, and has taken all that back to the marketing and design teams to flush out a more aesthetically pleasing design and colors.

In short, the LA Rams likely decided to scrap the old designs that failed the test marketing and will try something a little more in line with the fans’ expectations. What will that be? We’ll find out this Monday.

The new color scheme and logo design is a pretty important matter for the team. Now that the team has returned to Los Angeles, many expect the new design to incorporate characteristics of the former LA Rams design, as part of a salute to that heritage as the team moves forward.
