Free Agency fills holes

I am not a fan of any NFL team entering a draft with holes in the team roster.  That directs the team’s attention towards a specific position – whether or not the value exists there – and paves the way for huge regrettable mistakes.

The Rams will need to address the running back position in multiple ways in order to be set for the 2020 NFL season. Of course, one way to do so is to simply sign an inexpensive, but high ceiling veteran.   This wasn’t one of my own, but rather was something I noticed on social media.

To be honest, there are so many moves flying past so far in this offseason, I never gave pause to even confirm whether Barber was a free agent. He is. I didn’t confirm if he projects into the LA Rams price range. He does. So now, why him versus anyone else?
