Imagine a trade where Houston Texan QB Deshaun Watson signs a contract with the LA Rams…

The LA Rams are in a new era. A new stadium, new colors, new uniforms, a new logo (Which they should change). As per my last post, the Rams released (but didn’t trade) running back Todd Gurley, who no longer was the same player, unfortunately. WR Brandin Cooks was rumored to be mentioned trade discussions, which makes me so happy because I’ve never been a Brandin Cooks fan. I’ve only written about the possibility of trading our California kid, quarterback Jared Goff. The golden boy who led us to a Super Bowl berth. Why not try and upgrade at quarterback and go after Houston Texan quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The LA Rams have been extremely aggressive in the trade market over the last few years.  In the hope of gaining more fans and selling more tickets to SoFi Stadium, it’s worth considering. Being in Los Angeles means you have to make some splashes (Yes that was a beach pun). Some trades work and some don’t.

Re-signing running back Todd Gurley was a colossal mistake and the Rams will be the butt of some jokes for some time now. Re-signing defensive tackle Aaron Donald was absolutely the right move and all fans everywhere are overly joyed that the Rams paid that man. Re-signing quarterback Jared Goff was a bit premature. While it seems like it was a mistake but there are plenty of years left for him to prove what he’s worth. But if you have an elite quarterback, you have a chance to win every year. Trading for Deshaun Watson over Jared Goff will prove it.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Deshaun Watson is one of the best QBs in the NFL and he proved it this season. He’s an absolute game-breaker as well he’s mentally strong. He’s a winner and has shown it at Clemson and on the Houston Texans. Look at that amazing pass he had against the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs. Or the deep pass to Kenny Stills against the Saints this past season. He makes plays when they need to be made. Be honest, if the Rams had Deshaun Watson over Jared Goff in the Superbowl, the Rams would’ve won the game and we would’ve had a parade in LA.

Maybe the Gurley contract wouldn’t hurt as much knowing we could’ve had a Super Bowl with Deshaun Watson.

QB Deshaun Watson is clearly a bit upset that Texans head coach Bill O’Brien and the Texans brass traded superstar wide receiver Deandre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals. He was so upset that he quoted a Drake song called “Emotionless.”

The tweet was “I don’t know how I’ma make it out of here clean. can’t even keep track of who plays for the other team.. iconic duos rip and split at the seams.”

Next. 3 reasons why the LA Rams had to release Todd Gurley. dark

Which if you don’t understand, he’s not sure if this possible tenure with the Texans will end ugly or not. He’s also basically saying he’s unsure who’s on his side and who’s on the opponents’ side. And finally ends it with by implying that he and Deandre Hopkins were an iconic duo and they have ripped apart from each other. A duo that could’ve been lethal for another decade or so. He’s clearly upset and may want out. DO THE RIGHT THING RAMS!!! TRADE GOFF FOR DESHAUN!!!
