Gandy-Golden caught 150 passes for 2433 yards with 20 touchdowns in his last two college seasons. He played for the North team in the 2020 Senior Bowl. He caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Anthony Gordon.
At the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.6-second 40-yard dash. He bench-pressed 225 pounds 22 times. Gandy-Golden vertically leaped 36 inches and broad jumped 127 inches.
Like Pittman, he is a very effective weapon in goal-line sets. He would be a huge target over the middle or on end zone fade routes. There are not very many defenders who could out jump him or out muscle him.
Gandy-Golden is the prototypical split out wide receiver. His size could allow him to play tight end, if necessary due to injuries. His addition to the receiving corps makes the Rams passing offense tough to defend.
He should be there when the Rams draft in round 4. He might be overlooked because he played football at Liberty instead of an SEC school. NFL talent can be found at all levels of college football.
