Showtime is LA Rams time

While the history of head coach Sean McVay is not overwhelming, there are plenty of indications that McVay knows how to rally his troops. In 2019, the Rams played on five primetime games. In those games, the Rams finished 3-2.

In 2019, it was the game against the preseason lauded Cleveland Browns at Cleveland which so many believe would be an early loss for the Rams.  Instead, the Rams won 20-13.

Now, in 2020, it’s the lauded Dallas Cowboys in almost a similar situation. The Cowboys were just-on-the-cusp in 2019, and many praise them for a solid draft and off-season. With a new coaching staff, they are the presumed winner in a game that has yet to see a single snap with Mike McCarthy in Cowboys’ headsets on the sideline.

Meanwhile, the LA Rams know the meaning of this home opener and are well aware that winning is all-too-important to the fans, the players, the team, and the organization.

No team shows up like the LA Rams in big games. Recall the 2019 rematch against the New Orleans Saints was supposed to be the revenge game for the Saints from the previous year’s controversial playoff loss. In that game, the Rams shut down the Saints 27-9. Say what you will, the 2019 Rams were a playoff team until injuries riddled the roster.
