6 Baltimore Ravens

If not for their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Ravens would hold the top spot. While they have beaten up on bad teams, they did a pretty good job of filling roster holes in the offseason.  They always seem to stumble against one AFC North opponent, and with a sound thrashing of the Cleveland Browns, all eyes now turn to their contest with the 3-0 Pittsburgh Steelers to determine the best of the AFC North.

2020 Summary

The Ravens have already lost one game, but you can bet they are already focused upon their November 1st showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Meanwhile, quarterback Lamar Jackson leads the team in rushing while throwing for 769 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception.  The Ravens are built to get the lead and defend it.

2020 Outlook

At three wins, the Ravens are not in the driver seat for the AFC North just yet. But with games against the NFC East and the AFC South, the Ravens face a very easy schedule the rest of the way.   The Ravens can ignore any distractions. This season is about the Steelers and the rest of the schedule.  Even if they look past the Eagles in week six, they will still be in good shape if they can take down their rival Steelers the following week.

Unlike the Ravens from 2019, this team is better built to win in the playoffs. But NFL teams are becoming far more familiar with their offense, so it is a matter of whether or not they enter the postseason as a top-seeded team, or even as a wild card.
