If the Packers are no more generous than other teams have been, the Rams must face the other outcome of this weekend. Of course, they can dictate their own fate. If the Rams win, they are in the playoffs. If the Rams do not advance, they go home. Not to the comforts of home, no. The Rams will retreat back to the haunted halls of painful ‘what if’s?’ that haunt any team that is ridiculously close to post-season play, but fails to achieve it.

In an effort to improve for next season, all will scramble to uncover the cause of this year’s inability to claim a playoff berth. Did the Rams need more blocking?
