Now that the LA Rams have shopped to their heart’s content from the NFL Free Agency market, have made their selections from the 2022 NFL Draft. and finished off restocking the roster by signing undrafted rookie free agents, the Rams roster is set, for now. While some tweaks could still occur, the 53-man roster is expected to be made up of players who are on the current roster.

So, let’s take a look at how the LA Rams stack up against the rest of the NFC West Division.  For starters, the LA Rams are either quite stable at the quarterback position or are in a great place in terms of their relationship with their starting quarterback. That’s always a pretty good starting point.

Each of the four NFC West division teams has some new looks, which happens at the onset of each new NFL season. Some changes could be considered moving that team in a negative way, while other transactions may be interpreted as moving that team in a positive way. But unlike other years, the events of this off-season appear to be significant games by the Rams rivals.

We have some teams with significant question marks, such as the San Francisco 49ers at the quarterback position. Will this affect their division standings at the end of the regular season? The LA Rams now have questions at the wide receiver position. Will that impact their ability to defend the NFL Championship Title?

So here we go. I’ll rank the four teams in the NFC West in ascending order.  In other words,  I will begin this NFC West review by starting with the team that I believe will finish last in the division and go up from there.  We’ll talk about losses and additions for each team and how each team will be affected by those player changes.
