With the NFL's rash of recent trades and the nearing deadline, the bustle of commerce is right up Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead's wheelhouse.

After an aggressive offseason that netted LA defensive superstars Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, is there more where that came from?

In a word? Perhaps.

It depends on the available player, the asking price, and the status of the Rams' roster. Of course, it's far too early to pinpoint the exact team or teams who may be willing to have a fire sale at the trade deadline. Some are beginning to come to grips with dashed hopes already.

Those are the teams Rams fans should be monitoring. Not just for the outcome of their respective games, but to get a sense of the players who may become available for the right price.

4 teams who could become Rams trade partners

1. Philadelphia Eagles (2-3)

While some may believe any plans to pillage Philadelphia's roster are premature, that's not the perspective of team analyst Anthony Miller. Miller is already preparing to find Philly parting ways with five players.

Depending on where the team goes after a brutal Week 5 loss to the Jaguars, perhaps someone will become available that would be a welcome addition to the Yellow and Gold.

2. Houston Texans (1-4)

Rumors suggest that the Texans will remain buyers even after losing four of their first five games, and they lent credence to that theory by trading for Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

But it will take more than an underperforming receiver to turn the Texans around, their Week 5 win over the Titans notwithstanding. If the Texans do wave the white flag, they have multiple candidates to bolster LA's roster.

3. Los Angeles Chargers (0-5)

The Los Angeles Chargers went backwards in head coach Jim Harbaugh's second season. It appears as though the current players simply do not fit what Harbaugh wants to do on either offense or defense. As such, they may be due for a complete rebuild, leaving many veterans in a bad situation.

Niners Noise expert Peter Panancy cites three veterans who could be had with a well-timed offer by the San Francisco 49ers. They would also be ideal fits for the Rams as well. Imagine Khalil Mack joining LA's pass rush.

Anything's possible.

4. Arizona Cardinals (1-4)

Would the Cardinals consider trading with a division rival? They have already dealt Harrison Jr., are scrambling to rebuild the roster to head coach Mike LaFleur's specifications, and would benefit tremendously by drafting a top-tier quarterback in 2027.

So it could make sense.

On top of that, LaFleur has close ties to Los Angeles as Sean McVay's former offensive coordinator.

Injuries have kept Snead working the phones to sustain the roster. It would take nothing to ask about a veteran player who may become available from a team facing insurmountable losses.

More teams could emerge as potential trade partners, but these are four that have struggled recently and whose rosters hold veteran players who could be shed at the trade deadline if the team pivots to rebuilding. Stay tuned.

And as always, thanks for reading.
