We've talked about the Los Angeles Rams injury status of veteran wide receiver Davante Adams. But the defense is facing a bit of ominous uncertainty in Week 11 as well. This is a game that will need all hands on deck, but will all of those hands be fully fit and up to the task? Fans certainly hope so.
Even as the offensive side of the football must purge its own injury demons in time to take on the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks, the defensive demons are just as ominous. Star defensive lineman, Kobie Turner, affectionately also known as The Conductor, is battling a back injury that limited him in practice this week.
Naturally, fans want to know: Is Kobie Turner playing in Week 11?
Davante Adams (oblique) and Kobie Turner (back) will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, but Sean McVay said unless there are unforeseen setbacks, he expects both to play.

Turner may not be showing up as an NFL leader so far, but do not make the mistake of underestimating his value to this defense. He is a jack of all trades who has mastered nearly every task thrown at him. He is strong enough to anchor the defensive front as nose tackle, agile enough to split double teams, and can set an edge, stuff the run, and sack a quarterback.
At a time in which NFL players seem to find a niche role and excel at it, he excels and everything.
Kobie Turner is vital to Rams defensive success
He's not a leader in tackles, quarterback sacks, tackles for a loss, defending passes, forcing fumbles, or fumble recoveries. But what he does do is slide anywhere along the defensive front and play superb football.
At a physical position that demands constant rotation to remain fresh, Turner is a guy who seems to rotate out last and return to the football field first. He is the backup player for every starter, which makes his absence undeniably crippling to a defense that has mastered defending the run and the pass.
Turner does not seek out the spotlight. He simply suits up and does what he loves to do: Stop the ball carrier from advancing the football.
Much has been said about new additions to this defense. Both inside linebacker Nate Landman and nose tackle Poona Ford have bolstered the ferocity and snarls that have become the trademarks of Chris Shula's defense.
But Kobie Turner was excelling in all of those categories years ago. It just took time for general manager Les Snead to find similarly constructed defenders.
Week 11 is a huge game for both the Rams and Seahawks. The outcome could play a huge role in determining who wins the NFC Western Division. Los Angeles cannot afford to face a division rival without The Conductor.
Thankfully, all evidence suggests it won't.
As always, thanks for reading.
