The Los Angeles Rams are seasoned road warriors as the team arrives to face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. In the wild-card round, veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford had to deal with wind and rain. In the divisional round, he had to persevere against bitter cold, winds, and snow.

You might say that he ran a postal route for the NFL.

But LA fans can sleep easily if weather concerns cause restlessness. The final weather forecast for the NFL Championship Game could not be better football weather. Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, will be picture-perfect with no wind and temperatures in the high 30s. As the game progresses, the temperature will rise to over 40 degrees Fahrenheit as light southerly breezes bring warm Pacific air to Seattle.

After fighting through rain, snow, wind, and bitterly cold temperatures, Mother Nature finally relaxes and gives Los Angeles ideal football weather. For the visitors, and a certain 37-year-old quarterback, the timing could not have been better.

Matthew Stafford gets a perfect opportunity to showcase his talent

In two playoff games, Stafford has averaged 262 passing yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and 0.5 interceptions per game. But the sloppy conditions have plummeted his accuracy, completing just 52.4 percent of his passes. That's simply not going to cut it against the Seahawks.

Lo and behold, conditions are aligning to be ideally suited for his passing. It's what every LA Rams fan loves to hear. It's what Seattle Seahawks fans have been dreading. Stafford enters the game after struggling in Chicago. No defense is safe when the gun slinger sets his mind to winning a football game.

Stafford struggled to pass for just 130 yards when these two teams clashed in Week 11. But by the time they met again, he was much more effective in the pocket, passing for 457 yards and three touchdowns. He didn't have veteran wide receiver Davante Adams in the rematch.

Fans are eager to see vintage Stafford stand tall in the pocket, and he may be able to deliver to those lofty expectations. He won't have to battle bad weather, and he will have a full complement of targets to throw to. Could Stafford break the 500 passing yards plateau? Nothing would surprise fans about this MVP-esque QB.

As always, thanks for reading.
