The Los Angeles Rams schedule release is finally official. The team was never confused as to who the team might play. The Rams home and road opponents have been known for months. But what makes the Rams schedule release so important is the order in which teams show up to face the Rams. Conventional wisdom suggests that teams leaning on rookies and new head coaches are easier to face early in the season.
That same logic flips later in the season to face veteran teams that have had success in the past. Later in the season, injuries can pile up. And if you land a team that has already locked in its seeding, you may luck out to face their backups.
Just ask the Seattle Seahawks how much easier it becomes to win a game by avoiding the starters.
So, who do the Rams play, and when? Here is the official release of the 2025 Los Angeles Rams schedule:
Now, lets give you a quick reaction:
The Los Angeles Rams 2025 NFL schedule
The Rams typically sit starters and rotational players throughout the preseason. So look for QB Stetson Bennett to lead young offensive weapons in preseason games. The intriguing aspect of preseason games for the team is not just who plays and how well they perform, but who sits out the games.
Rookies who will make the roster seldom see preseason action.
Preseason Games
- Week 1 - Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 2 - Los Angeles Chargers at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 3 - Los Angeles Rams at Cleveland Browns
The Rams roster is much deeper at critical positions this season, so I expect a more competitive team to take the field. The Rams won two of three preseason games in 2024. Look for more of the same in 2025. But don't look for Stetson Bennett to throw so many interceptions this year. I recommend keeping him on your radar, because word is that he is more muscular and determined than ever.
Regular Season Games
- Week 1 - Houston Texans at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 2 - Los Angeles Rams at Tennessee Titans
- Week 3 - Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles
- Week 4 - Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 5 - San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (TNF)
- Week 6 - Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens
- Week 7Â - Los Angeles Rams @ Jacksonville Jaguars (@ Wembley Stadium)
- Week 8 - BYE
- Week 9 - New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 10 - Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
- Week 11 - Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 12 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Rams (SNF)
- Week 13Â -Â Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers
- Week 14 - Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals
- Week 15 - Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams
- Week 16 - Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks (TNF)
- Week 17 - Los Angeles Rams at Atlanta Falcons (MNF)
- Week 18 - Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
We will be breaking down the Rams' schedule intensively over the next few days. But one thing to point out is the location of the Rams' BYE week.
While the earlier NFL-rumored Rams schedule leak has the opponents in the proper order, that schedule mistimed the Rams' BYE week as falling in Week 9. That was quite alarming, as the Rams would have had to travel to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore, then to London, England, to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars the following week.
Hosting the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 would have been a cruel twist for the Rams. Thankfully, logic prevailed as the Rams will have a chance to recuperate from jet lag in Week 8 before playing host to the New Orleans Saints in Week 9.
What are your thoughts. Is this a good schedule? Is this a bad schedule? We will continue to peel back the layers as we assess and analyze what this all means to the Rams 2025 NFL season.
As always, thanks for reading.
