PFF sleeping on Davante Adams proves they are underestimating Rams offense

That's fine, sleep away.

The Los Angeles Rams added Davante Adams to their offense this offseason and that will help ensure the unit remains dangerous in 2025. That being said, not everyone is convinced that Adams is the scary weapon he once was.

Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus ranked the 32 best receivers in the league and while Puka Nacua nabbed the fifth spot on the list, Davante Adams didn't appear on the list until halfway through, coming in at number 16.

"Adams posted his lowest receiving grade since 2016 with a 76.8 in 2024, a concerning trend as he enters his age-32 season. Still, his elite production over the past five years warrants some benefit of the doubt — especially now that he’ll be working with Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay."

Rams fans shouldn't be bothered by this at all. While the numbers are there to show that Adams' 2024 season was "concerning", he still put up solid numbers over the past few years despite playing for some atrocious Raiders and Jets teams. Now, as Sikkema noted, he joins Stafford and McVay in Los Angeles where he's surely going to be utilized and able to make plays.

It's just fine if people want to sleep on Davante Adams and Rams offense

Some might think that losing Cooper Kupp will mean that the Rams offense drops off but Adams is still playing at a high level and will be joining the best offense he's seen since his Packers years. As much as fans loved Kupp, the injuries became too much and fortunately, Adams has stayed relatively healthy in recent years.

Fans can count on McVay to cook up some fun ways to get Adams involved in the offense and if he gets on the same page as his new quarterback, the sky is the absolute limit for Adams and the rest of the Rams offense in 2025. Keep letting people sleep on this unit because that'll make it even more fun when they do ball out this year.
