The Los Angeles Rams could be in a position to add in the 2024 NFL Season, and they could have these three trade deadline targets in mind. The Rams should hopefully be in a position to add a player or two at the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline. This team may find themselves right back in a Super Bowl window, so it's wise to behave like it.

The Rams won 10 games in 2023 and could be in line to even compete for the NFC West in 2024. Let's dive into three players the team could consider adding at the trade deadline.

3 trade deadline moves the LA Rams could make in the 2024 NFL Season

Okay, so where might the LA Rams and GM Les Snead turn at the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline? Here are three scenarios that may make some sense.

Rams could trade for CB Marshon Lattimore

The Los Angeles Rams may end up starting Darious Williams and Tre White at CB for the 2024 NFL Season, but both players could be over the hump. With the New Orleans Saints deperately needing some long-term cap relief, I have to assume they plan on selling at the deadline unless they are just an elite football team, which won't happen.

Marshon Lattimore could be a better option than, say, Tre White, so perhaps the Rams could swing a trade here. LA clearly re-did their secondary this offseason with additions made in free agency and in the 2024 NFL Draft. The unit could take some time to develop chemistry, but the age of certain players could paint an ugly picture.

Lattimore seems to be on the decline, but perhaps a new beginning could lead to some greener pastures.

Rams could trade for ILB Bobby Okereke

The Los Angeles Rams allegedly traded away Ernest Jones IV because of a failure to agree on a contract extension. Well, Troy Reeder and Christian Rozeboom are in line to start at inside linebacker for the Rams in 2024.

Yikes.

This isn't a good ILB duo, and it may be the worst in football if we're being honest. I guarantee you that this unit may be the team's weakest position group, so Les Snead may need to work the phones. Similar to the impact that ILB Roquan Smith had when he got traded to the Baltimore Ravens, the Rams should call up the New York Giants to see if they can take stud ILB Bobby Okereke off their hands.

The Giants won't be good in the 2024 NFL Season and could look to offload some players as they try to build for the future. Rebuilding teams don't need to spend $10 million per year on an ILB.

Rams could trade for TE Hunter Henry

The team is currently slated to start Colby Parkinson at tight end in the 2024 NFL Season, so this is another unit that could struggle. The New England Patriots did just re-sign tight end Hunter Henry, but like the Giants, they won't be good this year and could look to offload some veteran players.

I get the reasoning in bringing Henry back, as he's a reliable target for when Drake Maye gets some starts, but if a draft pick comes knocking on their front door from the LA Rams, would Patriots de-facto GM Eliot Wolf really turn that down? I don't it. The Rams could be missing a tight end in their quest to again field a top-10 offense.
