It's Game 2 of the three game preseason for both the LA Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. While the deadline for trimming the roster down to the 53-man roster is days away, you cannot downplay the utter importance of the second preseason game in the assembling of data points and trends for young players.

The competition will be fierce. Not just between opposing teams. But between teammates. This is when the performance of players means more than the outcome of a game. This is about surviving in the NFL for players on both teams. So this game is vitally important.

Of course, what's in it for the fans? If Game 1 is any indication, there will be plenty of drama, outstanding plays, and great fodder for future discussions, speculations, and projections. It's the NFL preseason, but it is at its best. Best of all, this one will be played at SoFi Stadium, with one wrinkle.

The LA Rams are considered the 'visiting' team in this one.
