The LA Rams are 1-3 so far in 2024, a far cry from a team building on the 7-1 finish to the 2023 NFL season. But in many ways, this is a brand-new team. Whether due to the retirement of All-Pro DT Aaron Donald, the hiring of new coaches led by DC Chris Shula, the new roster, or the outbreak of injuries, this team has not found a beachhead of success to build upon.

Perhaps the Rams second home game will turn the corner for the team. If not, well, let's save that discussion for a time when it might be needed. So far, the Rams lone win this season has come from the most likely of teams, the San Francisco 49ers. But if the Rams can defeat the 49ers, then there is hope for the team to defeat the Green Bay Packers, another team with better than expected success against the Rams in recent years.

CBS Sports is sparing no expense by covering this game with their premier crew of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson. The game will be officiated by Head Referee Brad Allen's crew.

Game Details

This Week 5 game will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 1:25 pm PT. The temperature at kickoff is forecasted to be in the low 80s with a light breeze. Since SoFi Stadium is a modern open-air design, spectators should be quite comfortable throughout the game.
