The Los Angeles Rams will hopefully address their long-term needs in the 2025 NFL Draft. Would this mock draft do that? Is it that time of the year already? Well, no, but why not? The LA Rams may need to continue making major roster changes if they hope to sustain success after the Matthew Stafford era ends.

Stafford is now in his age-36 season, and in addition to him, the Rams do have some other aging, veteran players that Les Snead, the GM, is going to need to replace. To continue sustaining success in the present and in the future, the Rams must continue having strong draft classes.

Would this 2025 NFL Draft class fill the Rams' long-term needs?

Los Angeles Rams' NFL mock draft: Team hits all long-term needs

I recently laid out the LA Rams 2025 NFL Draft shopping list. Now, let's do some shopping.

14th Overall Pick - Colston Loveland. TE, Michigan

The Los Angeles Rams apparently had a ton of interest in tight end Brock Bowers during the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He went several picks before the Rams were on the clock, so they took Jared Verse instead. I am sure the Rams are happy with Verse, but the need for a viable threat at TE is still present.

Colston Loveland is the best TE prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft class and would be a perfect fit in LA. I can only just imagine what head coach Sean McVay could do with an elite receiving tight end. It would be glorious.

76th Overall Pick - Jaxon Dart, QB, Mississippi

Matthew Stafford would be entering his age-37 season in 2025, so time is ticking. Stafford is not going to be here for much longer, and it would not surprise me to see the LA Rams take a stab at someone in the 2025 NFL Draft. How about Jaxon Dart from Mississippi?

He's a senior this year and has thrown 64 touchdowns against 23 interceptions in his college career thus far. He's completing nearly 80% of his passes in 2024 thus far, which is an insane mark. Sean McVay was able to develop Jared Goff. Could he develop the second QB of his career if they took Dart?
