Why jerseys the LA Rams are wearing today in Week 5 vs. the Packers may matter

I won't lie, articles about what the LA Rams are wearing on game day are not particularly popular, nor do many readers click to read what attire combination will be for the team. And I get that, and respect that. But for the life of me, the emotional comments that become personal attacks seem a bit over-the-top. After all, the title is not misleading. Don't want to read the article? Simpe. Don't read it.

But here's what you may be missing:

Some fashionistas have tracked the Rams apparel to the success or failure of the team on game day. And so, whether you care to believe in that sort of stuff, previous seasons had some evidence of correlation. Believe it or not, the Rams were most successful when donning their Bone White apparel. But when the team opted to sunset Bone White in place of their modern throwback classic white uniforms, we stopped tracking the uniforms with the outcomes.

So how has the team done in 2024 so far?

• Week 2: Bone White Jersey | Royal Blue Pants - Loss
• Week 3: Throwback White Jersey | Royal Blue Pants - Win
• Week 4: Throwback White Jersey | Royal Blue Pants - Loss

So what can we decipher by the uniforms worn and the team's chances of winning or losing? Not much,. Perhaps we simply need more data?

Rams Jerseys: Royal Blue jersey
Rams Pants: Bone White pants
Rams Shoes: Blue shoes

The Rams historically have been at their best when they wear Bone White. But that was not the case in Week 2. Perhaps the team will fare better if they wear Bone White pants? It's the first time that has been the case in 2024.

Sounds ridiculous, right? Perhaps. But at 1-3, who am I to deny what some fans believe to be significant information? If the Rams win in Week 5, I will be the first to look for similar results if Bone White pants appear on the schedule in the future.
