The 11-3 Los Angeles Rams offense has made no bones about it. This team is powered by the offense, and the offense is powered by the dynamic duo of veteran wide receivers Davante Adams and Puka Nacua. But the Week 15 contest against the Detroit Lions has been a slugfest. Los Angeles already survived an injury scare to starting left tackle Alaric Jackson.

This was a game of extremes. If the Rams win, they lock up a playoff berth with three games remaining. If they lose, they not only lose the game, but tumble to the sixth-seed in the NFC, and could be out altogether if they do not win two of their last three games.

And it gets dire, as both Davante Adams and Puka Nacua were forced to the sidelines with apparent injuries. Davante Adams was able to walk off the field on his own power after his injury. Unfortunately, he did not return to the game. Puka Nacua was categorized as questionable after suffering cramps, but he was able to return to the game.

Adams has fought through a hamstring injury for over a month.

Rams have a short week after this one to face the 11-3 Seahawks

The Rams certainly will need their Ben Gay after this one, as the team suffered some bitter bumps and bruises. Not only have three players suffered reported injuries, but there are plenty of unreported injuries that will show up after this game.

Unfortunately, the Rams will have a short week and will be on the road to face the 11-3 Seattle Seahawks. The good news is that thanks to this victory, Los Angeles is assured of competing in the NFL playoffs. The bad news is that they must face the Seahawks with the NFC West Division at stake.

Even if the Rams win against the Seahawks, this team has to win out to risk losing the NFC West Division title to the resurgent 10-4 San Francisco 49ers. And the same injuries that have been a non-issue to the Rams this season seem to be impacting Los Angeles at the worst possible time of the season.

The Horns have risen to 11-3 and a certain playoff berth. But LA needs to keep winning, as the postseason is currently a very scary endeavor.

As always, thanks for reading.
