The Los Angeles Rams have continued to make under-the-radar roster moves that fool nobody, and yet hold the promise of a strategy that finds itself coming together right on queue. But the moves are more than window dressing. There is a strategy behind the moves, and if you've been wondering where this all leads where it all leads,
You're in luck. That's what we're about to share.
The team is not following a script. Rather, this is akin to general manager Les Snead retiling the bathroom floor. He has a carpenter's eye as he fits players into specific niche vacancies on the team's active and practice squad rosters. He had added a formidable young offensive lineman to the practice squad.
Now that he's cleared waivers, the team is returning safety Tanner Ingle to the practice squad.
If you recall, Ingle was signed to the active roster for Week 12, a sign that the team wanted to have added weaponry available for covering punts and kickoffs. Thankfully, the game was not close, and special teams units were not required to perform at optimal levels.

The process all began as soon as the team released Ingle from the active roster. As soon as that happened, many fans realized that other moves were coming. One such move could be reasonably anticipated, as wide receiver Tutu Atwell has completed his minimum of four weeks on injured reserve.
LA acted quickly to begin the process of reactivating him, with the expectation that Atwell would suit up for Week 13. While the team has remained successful, the boost of getting Atwell back to face the Carolina Panthers is a huge plus. It's particularly huge in light of the one-game suspension of Panthers' safety Tre'Von Moehrig.
The Panthers will be hard-pressed trying to corral both wide receivers, Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. Now that Atwell will join them, testing their ability to play centerfield, LA's offense may overwhelm its opponent.
But the Panthers are no slouches. Not only do they play at home, but many teams add intensity after a disappointing loss. Los Angeles cannot look past the Panthers in Week 13. Fans shouldn't either.
As always, thanks for reading.
