The Los Angeles Rams have seen every side the preseason has to offer. The team has had some young players make a name for themselves and secure a roster spot, but Los Angeles has also seen some guys play themselves off the roster. With one preseason game left this weekend, the NFL is just days away from roster cut day.

Every NFL team will have to trim their 90-man training camp roster to just 53 players for the regular season. For the Rams, that will mean saying goodbye to a few draft picks who haven’t lived up to expectations with the team. Here are three Los Angeles draft picks who may not make it to Week 1.

2022 pick A.J. Arcuri could be cut by Rams

A.J. Arcuri was drafted in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and the offensive tackle has been able to stick around with the team. He’s played in 10 total games in his career, while bouncing between the active roster and the practice squad. Unable to establish himself as a key depth piece this offseason, he could be waived again and headed to the practice squad.

2023 pick Davis Allen is at risk of being waived by Rams

The same goes for tight end Davis Allen, who was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 Draft. Allen has spent both of his seasons on the active roster and has appeared in 30 games. In those games, he caught 16 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown. While he could be a nice depth piece, he’ll probably be on the practice squad, as the Rams have Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, and Colby Parkinson.

2024 pick Brennan Jackson is on the Rams’ roster bubble

Brennan Jackson is only entering his second season after being drafted in the fifth round of last years draft. The edge defender did appear in seven games as a rookie, recording just three tackles, but majority of his snaps came on special teams. He has a chance to make the roster, but with the Rams’ crowded defensive front, he could be headed to waivers, and possibly the practice squad.
