The LA Rams are on the road to face the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Week 11. As far as the cold November gales piercing the skin with bone-numbing cold? Perish the thought. Mother Nature has opted for a nearly perfect weather day for the Rams on the road. And that is not the only warm reception for the team. But we'll get into that in just a moment.

For now, this is a game that holds particular importance for both teams. With the Miami Dolphins suddenly getting hot, the Patriots must find success against the Rams to stay in the AFC East Division race. The LA Rams, having halted a three-game winning streak, must now try to find a win on the road. At 1-3 away from SoFi Stadium, that is not an easy task.

Week 11 will not be easy either. The Rams are once again struggling to keep the offensive line healthy. And their opponents, the New England Patriots, appear to be getting some key players healthy in time to face the Rams. Yikes.

But the Rams are not down and out. This team has a young and hungry defense, plenty of offensive firepower, and multiple underused players who can make an immediate and positive impact on the outcome of this game.

Announcers for Dolphins vs Rams

  • Lead Play-by-Play Announcer: Adam Amin
  • Color Commentator: Mark Sanchez
  • Sideline reporter: Kristina Pink

This will be the fourth time in 2024 that the Rams will have Adam Amin's crew broadcasting their game. So far, the Rams are 1-2 with Amin and company. But that breaks down to 1-0 at SoFi Stadium, and 0-2 on the road. Hopefully, the Rams will find a way to snap their losing streak on the road with Adam Amin in the broadcast booth.

Referees for Dolphins vs. Rams

Head Referee: Shawn Smith

This is Shawn Smith's seventh NFL season as a referee. He and his crew have not called a game with the LA Rams so far in 2024. Here is his full crew:

Full officiating crew

  • Head Referee: Shawn Smith
  • Umpire: Alex Moore
  • Down Judge: Jay Bilbo
  • Line Judge: Jeff Seeman
  • Field Judge: Dyrol Prioleau
  • Side Judge: Boris Cheek
  • Back Judge: Dino Paganelli
  • Replay Official: Mike Wimmer
  • Replay Assistant: Larry Hill Jr.

Smith's crew is a bit more discerning than the average NFL officiating crew. As detailed out per Pro Football Reference, Smith's crew calls 11.44 penalties per game, for an average of 88.78 penalty yards per game. Both numbers fall below the national average of 12.77 penalties and 102.86 yards averaged per game. The crew has been rather balanced so far in penalizing both home and away teams with relatively equal distribution. That was not the case in Week 10 when the Rams were called for all but one penalty.

If you can't catch the game by streaming or television broadcast, you can still catch it on the radio. Here's how to listen to the Rams' game on the radio in Week 11.
