4. Anquan Boldin

From a wide receiver standpoint, the Los Angeles Rams would prefer to bring another player on board that Jared Goff would have the opportunity to develop chemistry with over the next couple of years. But if a chance came up to sign an experienced veteran like Anquan Boldin, the decision should be a no brainer for the Rams.

At the moment, Goff’s two best options to work with in the passing game are Tavon Austin and Robert Woods, who recently signed a five-year deal on the first official day of free agency. And when considering that last year was the first time in four seasons that Austin broke the 500-yard receiving mark, it’s clear how desperate this team is in need of help at wide receiver.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that Boldin will turn 37 in October since he’s coming off a 2016 season with the Detroit Lions in which he started all 16 games, and even found the end zone eight times. A veteran like Boldin would easily be worth every penny of whatever type of contract he would be looking for, as he would bring plenty of experience and leadership to the Rams’ offense, which they could desperately use.
