Week 9 will be a good opportunity to square up a few things in 2018, namely who might be the best team in the NFC and most specifically in the National Football League.

Make no bones about it:
The best team in the NFL resides in the NFC and may, I say MAY be in the NFC West.

Conversely, that team may also be in the NFC South, namely the Saints. Sunday afternoons in the league tend to solve such questions.

For the Rams, remaining undefeated is likely the last consideration entering Week 9. But at this point of the season, and with a record that has no losses attached to it, winning becomes as important as how you may lose.

More than a few pundits are picking Los Angeles to lose this game citing a defense that is suspect at best. That’s a fair point, and Tuesday’s trade may or may not change such an opinion moving forward.

For those who thought Week 8 against the Packers was a game that would result in a shootout, that prediction may have been a week premature. Brees, like Jared Goff has better firepower than Rodgers and the Packers.

The final score may exceed 75 total points, which makes all the sense in the world.
