It’s not to say the Los Angeles Rams on offense is single dimensional, but a low scoring affair is not a good sign for them. It also means that part of the game plan for McVay and Goff has gone sideways.

Without question, getting the run game going will be an interesting watch, especially with how well, or how not well Gurley is performing. However, the Cowboys defense is the best part of Dallas, meaning the rushing attack may be slow in developing with any significance if at all.

The Rams will need a big performance from the passing game, which will be a significant test for Jared Goff. If he struggles and Los Angeles is forced into a low scoring grind it out kind of game, that will be a significant victory for the Cowboys.

LA will need to get Dallas back on their heels. If the Cowboys are forced to have Prescott throw the ball in an effort to either keep pace or worse for them, keep up with the Rams, Los Angeles can likely look forward to moving on to Championship Sunday.

However, if the score goes low, and the Cowboys play ball control with Elliott manufacturing big yards, the Rams may be looking at an 0-2 playoff record, and an end to a season filled with a ton of promise.
