For those who remember the Week 9 game between the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints, a game the Saints won, many will say that the Rams could have won, maybe even should have won, if not for a bad defense headlined by the vastly overrated Marcus Peters.

This NFC championship Game will look different.

One way to say that is to look no further than the Week 16 game the Rams played against the Arizona Cardinals. Los Angeles beat an out-manned Cards team 31-9 behind a resurgent running game led by C.J. Anderson. Against the Cowboys both Anderson and Todd Gurley ran all over the Dallas rush defense to the tune of over 200 yards, providing Jared Goff perhaps his easiest day of work in 2018.

For that reason alone, the air attack via a Sean McVay offense against a Sean Payton offense may and likely will look different this second time around.

With Los Angeles finding a new and improved rushing game, how the Rams score points on Sunday will be something fans in LA got only a brief taste of when the home team beat Dallas.

The crowd will be every bit the factor they were when these two teams first played to kick of November. The difference being the Rams now have a legitimate and sustainable running game to pile up minutes in time of possession, thus limiting a crowd who can and has taken out the road team on a few occasions.
