14. Tyler Higbee

Due to some off-the-field issues leading up to the NFL Draft in 2016, Tyler Higbee unfortunately watched his stock take a little bit of a hit since he was originally considered a top tight end in his class.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Taking Higbee in the fourth round at the time seemed like one of those picks in which the Rams knew they had nothing to lose as long as he stayed out of trouble, and when looking at the previous three years, the tight end has been quite the nice fit on offense.

Higbee may not always put up the most consistent numbers on offense, but also most of the time it’s due to the fact that Los Angeles doesn’t always need him to.

However, the NFC Championship was one of those games in which Higbee stepped up on offense for the Rams when needed the most by hauling in all four catches thrown in his direction for 25 yards to go along with a touchdown.

Since Higbee isn’t always as involved in the passing game as much as discussed before, it only seems fair to consider him a long shot to win the MVP at the moment. But who knows, maybe the Super Bowl will be another one of those games in which Higbee has extra passes thrown in his direction.
