2. Loss will only motivate McVay more

Rightfully so, McVay has received a ton of praise for the work he’s done over the last two years to help the Rams become one of the NFL’s biggest threats, especially on offense when looking at all of the weapons he has to work with.

However, there’s no way to sugarcoat just how embarrassing of a performance Super Bowl 53 was for Los Angeles on offense since a team loaded with all of those weapons couldn’t even manage to find the end zone once.

No matter how hard they try to avoid the topic of the offense failing to come through in the loss to the Patriots, McVay knows it will be discussed over the next few months for the Rams. And as frustrating as this game was, McVay deserves a ton of credit for handling the responsibility the way he has since the end of the game.

Dating back to the 2017 season when he was brought on board, McVay has proven to be an offensive mastermind, and always seems motivated to learn from his mistakes, whether it’s during the regular season or simply the playoffs.

Rams fans have every right to be upset and disappointed over what took place against the Patriots, but the good news is more than ever, McVay will be motivated to make sure his team earns another chance to compete in next year’s Super Bowl for a shot at redemption.
