3. Earl Watford

Originally, Earl Watford signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears last offseason with the intention of being part of a team on the rise expected to take the leap to become a serious contender in the NFC during the 2018 season, which turned out to be exactly the case.

Unfortunately, the only issue was Watford wasn’t actually part of the squad after the Bears decided to release him leading up to the regular season.

As a result, Watford would end up joining the Browns, and would go on to appear in 13 games for the team, as they coincidentally turned out to be a surprise contender as well, only they failed to reach the playoffs like the Bears.

After spending the first five years of his career as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, although he didn’t play a single game in 2013 as a rookie, Watford is quite familiar when it comes to playing in the NFC West, but his experience then wouldn’t even come close to what he would be part of on the Rams.

Watford may not seem like starting material, but most importantly, the veteran could provide some depth for Los Angeles on the offensive line by helping the offense fill one of their needs at guard.
