3. Passing defense struggles again

Over the first three games of the regular season, the Rams received all sorts of high praise for how impressive the passing defense looked in key games, but the last two weeks have been a disaster.

After receiving a major wake-up call from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Jameis Winston lit up the defense, fans were hoping to see Los Angeles make the necessary adjustments for Thursday’s game against Seattle, especially since it was a game within the division.

Unfortunately, the struggles continued for the unit after Russell Wilson did what he does best by scrambling around to help make the big plays, and eventually find his teammates open.

Watching Wilson toss four touchdown passes against the Rams makes it seem like the passing defense may actually be a concern heading into Week 6, which is unfortunate with all of the hype surrounding the duo at quarterback.

With both Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib currently in the final year of their contracts, there was some hope that Los Angeles would see their cornerbacks play at a high enough level to make their decision easy down the road over potential new contracts.

But after watching Thursday’s results, it’s safe to say that both Peters and Talib along with a few others still have a ton to prove moving forward.
