LA Rams game day primer: Facing formidable foe Philadelphia
By Bret Stuter
The LA Rams barely have time to enjoy their first win of the season, as they must travel to face a familiar and formidable foe, the Philadelphia Eagles
The LA Rams must leave the familiarity of Los Angeles, California, and face another familiar setting. This week, the team must travel east, three time-zones ahead of the west coast, to take on a formidable foe, the Philadelphia Eagles.
The weekend weather will be almost ideal for football. The temperature ranges will be falling over the next seven days., from 77 degrees to a game day high of 64 degrees and quite sunny. The forecast also calls for steady winds from the northeast from 10 to 15 miles per hour. Despite the great weather, this game will be played in an empty stadium as well.
A nickel for Nickell’s thoughts
Of course, some 2019 LA Rams players are already in Philadelphia. Former slot cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent this off-season. He played 41 defensive snaps for the Eagles in their loss and recorded two tackles. While he had a modest impact against Washington, he is spilling his guts to the Eagles secondary. Of course, he is only doing what any player does in the NFL on a new team.
The fact is that the LA Rams have new personnel and a new offensive coordinator.
