Michael Somera (Staff Writer) Became a Rams Fan in 1969 after winning tickets in a paper-boy contest and getting to see Roman Gabriel, Merlin Olsen, Deacon Jones and many other Ram greats play in my first exposure to professional football. Truly became a die-hard fan when Eric Dickerson regularly ran wild and became my favorite Ram player ever. Henry Ellard, Isaac Bruce and Flipper Anderson rank close behind #29 on my all-time favorites list. Steven Jackson is my current favorite St. Louis Ram player. Coach Jeff Fisher brings 'A New Hope' to all of us loyal fans that has seemed to be missing for eons. Graduated from the same high-school (Lawndale High) as former L.A. Ram and T.V. Star Fred Dryer.
