The best game of Week 16 could be in Seattle where the Seahawks host the 11-3 Kansas City Chiefs. It’s also a game where two of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League, Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahomes, could be the highlight of the weekend slate.

The Seahawks are a gritty 8-6, but stumbled last week in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Niners in a game they should have won. Seattle, who gets the Cardinals in Week 17, have an opportunity to finish strong after a season where they spent more time at or near .500 than their current record would indicate.

Without a doubt, Kansas City is one of the best team they’ve faced all season, going back to a 36-31 loss to the Los Angeles Rams back in early November. Getting the Chiefs at home, as well as the Cardinals in Week 17 to close out the season, is an advantage the Seahawks don’t want to waste, especially as they continue to maneuver for positioning the the NFC playoff chase.

Heading into Sunday, they remain ahead of a faltering Vikings team who plays at the Detroit Lions, a game Minnesota is favored in.

While the NFC West is decided, Seattle has a lot to play for with two weeks to go.
