3 concerns for potential Rams matchup with Eagles in NFC Championship
By Dan Parzych
2. Lack of pressure on Foles
With a defensive line consisting of two dominant players in Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh, normally getting to the quarterback is never that much of an issue for a team like the Rams.

In fact, when seeing how Donald managed to record 20.5 sacks during the regular season, this shows how much of a threat Los Angeles can be on a weekly basis on the defensive side of the football.
As for how the unit performed in the regular season when taking on the Eagles, well let’s just say this was one of those games in which the Rams just couldn’t figure out a way to get to Foles.
Even if they managed to force an interception by Foles, the fact that Los Angeles failed to record a single sack shows just how great of a job Philadelphia’s offensive line performed in this one, and could certainly do it again if given the opportunity.
Numerous teams have learned the hard way in recent weeks just how much damage Foles can cause if given the proper time in the pocket, and one can only imagine the devastation if he were to defeat the Rams for a second time in a month.
The good news for Los Angeles over a potential matchup like this one is if Philadelphia were to return for a battle in the NFC Championship, McVay would hopefully make sure the necessary adjustments are taken care of.
Otherwise, Foles would most likely figure out a way to do what he does best in helping the Eagles pull off wins as underdogs while putting extra pressure on the Rams’ offense to come through.
