Are you looking for a new way to celebrate the success of the Los Angeles Rams' season at the midpoint? If so, then you are in luck. The team unveils its Rivalry Uniforms in Week 11. Los Angeles is just one of eight NFL teams that will participate in this new program.
The team has opted for a Midnight Black color scheme, and this color combination is a limited edition for the Week 11 contest in which LA hosts the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks. While some fans love the innovative color schemes, others hate them.

Midnight black is not new to fans. Former inside linebacker Bobby Wagner begged for the team to adopt a black uniform. Before that, the color scheme was a topic of heated debate among our readers as well.
Uniform color palettes and designs may not be a topic for everyone. But there is an enclave of Rams fashionistas who love to track the team's success rates as a result of the color schemes worn.
Reactions to the new unis are mixed and polarizing
The new Rivalry Uniform designs were revealed on August 28, 2025. While the buzz for that big reveal has died down, the uniforms will get plenty of attention and discussion this week. And to be fair, the marketing push from the team has been solid:
The front? Stunning.

The back? Gorgeous.
The side? Beautiful.
Former defensive tackle Michael Brockers loves the new designs and admitted that he tried to lobby for the team to adopt that color scheme as well. Well, despite the team failing to acquiesce to requests from former players, the midnight black designs have finally arrived.

Some love the design. Others do not. Some fans point to the fact that the uniforms are not Midnight Black at all, but rather a deep blue that will appear as black on television broadcasts. Still others argue that it's difficult to market a Midnight black-out uniform during a game scheduled to be played at 1:05 pm PT.
Ultimately, fans will vote with their dollars. What do you think? Are Midnight-themed uniforms worth adding to your sports attire? To many fans, that will depend on the outcome of the game.
As always, thanks for reading.
